Drishyam Director Nishikant Kamat In Critical Condition; Admitted To A Hospital In Hyderabad - EXCLUSIVE
Director Nishikant Kamat who helmed films like Drishyam, Madaari, Rocky Handsome and more is said to be in a critical condition and is admitted to hospital
Director Nishikant Kamat made his debut with Marathi film Dombivali Fast. It became one of the superhits of Marathi Cinema. Later, he ventured into Bollywood in the year 2008 with film Mumbai Meri Jaan which was based on 2006 Mumbai Bombings. The director then went on to helm some of the critically acclaimed films like Drishyam, Madaari, Fugay and others. Sadly, reports are now coming in that Nishikant Kamat's health is in a critical condition and he has been admitted to a hospital.
Our sources reveal that Nishikant Kamat is said to have suffered from Liver Cirrhosis in the past and that has relapsed. He has been admitted to a hospital in Hyderabad and his condition is said to be terminal.
It was only recently that one of his most critically acclaimed films Drishyam starring Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran and Tabu in pivotal roles completed five years of its release. To celebrate the same, Tabu had shared the poster of the film on social media saying it's been 'five years'. Talking about his upcoming projects, Nishikant Kamat has a film called Darbadar that is expected to release in 2022. He has also acted in a few films, the last one being Bhavesh Joshi. Nishikant Kamat was also seen in a negative role in John Abraham starrer Rocky Handsome.
